Welcome to our New BCom Operations Manager

We are delighted to announce that Lisa Barty will be joining the Student Experience – BCom Academic team in the new role of Operations Manager. Lisa will manage the daily operations of the BCom Academic team, focusing on service delivery, process improvements and best practices in post-secondary education.

For more than 15 years, Lisa has worked at McMaster and brings experience from previous roles in Research Services and the Faculty of Science, where she managed the Science Career and Cooperative Education Office. Since 2016, Lisa has been Manager (Academic) of DeGroote’s MBA Programs. Her background in operations, student recruitment and coaching, as well as program management, will be an asset to our Commerce and IBH Programs.

Lisa will join the team on Monday April 5.
