The Reframery: Commerce 4SY3 Opportunity
The Reframery is a new initiative that helps support marginalized persons in their path to open and grew new entrepreneurial businesses. They work world-wide – in Canada, the US, Brazil and Poland with women, refugees and marginalized persons through a virtual incubator and are looking for some exceptional DeGroote undergraduate students to work as research assistants for this project with at least a six month commitment. Students will receive a living wage for their efforts, and some students may be able to register for 4sY3, a directed study, for credit and grades regarding your research activities.
Students are required to have some or a mix of the following skills:
- Web writing capabilities, possibly including design
- UX experience
- Good communication skills
- Leadership capabilities
- Project management skills
- Video experience (e.g. TikTok, YouTube, or other video design and editing experience)
- Syllabus or curriculum design
- Case study research and writing
- Languages a plus – in particular, Polish, Ukrainian, Portuguese or Swahili
- Experience with first nations
