Submit Your Spring 2024 Valedictorian Nominations!

Spring nominations for Valedictorian are now open! Nominations will be accepted until Thursday, February 29.

Valedictorian applications are an excellent opportunity for graduating students to nominate a fellow graduating student who best represents the student community at McMaster University.

How to submit a nomination:

• Download the Valedictorian Nomination Package.
• Read the nomination package carefully to ensure you have the appropriate information.
• Email your completed nomination package to buscom@mcmaster.ca by Thursday, February 29 at 8:00 a.m.

Selection criteria:

• Valedictorians will demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. In addition, and pursuant to the selection policy, applications will be evaluated on such factors as personal achievement and community outreach.
• Valedictorians will speak to the convocation from which they graduate, and the selected Valedictorians will be notified of the date and time of their convocation via their information packages.
