Hotel Expense Supplements for International MBA Students

International MBA students arriving in Canada to quarantine at McMaster on or before Monday, May 31, 2021 are eligible for financial support in covering your costs for your first three days at a government-approved quarantine hotel.

McMaster is offering to cover up to $500 (CAD), and DeGroote is providing additional funds, up to $1,000 (CAD), upon submission of appropriate documentation, to offset the costs of your first three days in a government-approved hotel, upon landing in Canada.

Currently this supplement applies only to students arriving on or before Monday, May 31, 2021.

Please note: These supplements only apply to the student and do not apply to accompanying family members, etc. These amounts can only be claimed once.

Reminder: You will need to follow McMaster’s Quarantine Readiness plan for your subsequent quarantine to complete the full 14-day quarantine.
