Daylight Savings Time Ends November 7
With daylight savings time ending this week, this means the time zone McMaster University operates in will turn back one hour.
What you need to know:
- If you are in a different time zone, this may affect the timing of your classes starting Monday, November 8
- If you use Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) to determine your class and exam times, this means McMaster is moving from UTC -4 to UTC -5
- McMaster University is moving from Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) to Eastern Standard Time (EST)
- If you are unsure of how this affects you, you can use the Time Zone Converter
