CPA Ontario: How to Excel – Workshop #1 | January 13
The first workshop in this series will introduce Excel for participants who have minimal experience with the software. Topics covered: basic functionality, features, and terminology of the program, as well as importing, organizing and manipulating data within the program.
The workshop leader is Dr. Lorna Deeth. Dr. Deeth has a BSc(H) in Mathematics, an MSc in Statistics, and a PhD in Applied Statistics. She has over 10 years of experience in education, including peer-to-peer supplemental instruction, transitional programs from high school to university-level mathematics and university-level course instruction. Over the last few years, her teaching has included a focus on the use of software packages in university introductory statistics courses for students in commerce-related programs.
