Mona joined the PhD program at DeGroote in September 2009.

Prior to joining the PhD program at McMaster, Mona worked as a Quality Management Consultant at the American Society For Management Inc. in Beirut, Lebanon; she then worked as the Regional Staffing and Development Coordinator at PepsiCo International in the South Asia, Middle East, and Africa Regional Office in Dubai.

Mona’s primary research interests include understanding the interaction between work and other aspects of employees’ life (work-life), and the role that organizations play in facilitating or hindering this interaction. Mona is particularly interested in understanding how organizational and national culture can be incorporated in models of work-life interface.
