John entered the PhD program in Business Administration in September 2008. He maintains a focus towards information systems, eHealth, mobile technology, mobile commerce and management of new technology.

John has gained experience through a variety of positions at leading technology and consulting firms. He spent four years working for IBM as a systems consultant and marketing assistant, followed by six years as a consultant, senior consultant, and manager at KPMG Management Consulting. Prior to entering the DeGroote PhD program, he worked for Exchange Solutions Inc. gaining a unique understanding of loyalty solutions for large US and Canadian Financial Institutions.
