David joined the PhD program at DeGroote in September 2007. His current research interests lie in the areas of security, privacy, and trust, particularly in eHealth and similar sensitive content areas.

David has spent over 25 years in Software Engineering, working for and consulting to companies such as IBM, Nortel, NCR, Royal Bank, and Alcatel. David is also a professional engineer and a member of the Project Management Institute.
