Armagan joined the Ph.D. program at the DeGroote School of Business in September 2016 and passed his comprehensive exam with distinction in July 2017. He defended his thesis proposal in April 2018. His main area of interest lies in food waste in perishable inventory management and bricks-and-clicks dual-channel supply chains. He is also interested in financial mathematics.
