Erin Dunham, MBA ’18, CEO and Co-Founder, The Other Bird

Erin Dunham is the CEO and co-owner of the Hamilton-based hospitality group The Other Bird, the parent company behind a family of unique dining destinations which include The Mule, Burro, Hunter & Co., Odds, the boutique Arlington Hotel and the newest venture, Rapscallion & Co., scheduled to open this fall. Erin has previously been named Hamilton’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year by Hamilton’s Chamber of Commerce, while The Other Bird earned the title of Outstanding Mid-sized Business. Through The Other Bird’s success, Erin has also been awarded The Top Forty Under Forty award for Hamilton and was also named among the Top 15 people to watch in Hamilton for 2015 by The Hamilton Spectator. She has also been recognized as a strong female influence in the restaurant industry, being honoured with the YWCA’s Women of Distinction Award in 2018.

Tanvir Bhangoo, MBA ’14, VP Technology, Freshii

Tanvir is a digital transformation thought leader, advisor, and a speaker putting people and culture first. He has a successful track record in helping large global organizations gain competitive, cost, and operational advantages through key digital transformations. Some of his experience includes various tech leadership and consultative roles at Restaurant Brands International ($30 billion in system sales), Exxon Mobil (Imperial Oil), and Freshii (fast casual and CPG brand). Currently, Tanvir is the Head of Technology at Freshii, spearheading an end-to-end digital transformation to drive revenue and profitability through digital channels. Tanvir oversees strategy and execution for all in-store tech, consumer facing digital platforms, and internal IT systems. Tanvir is also the Founder and Managing Director of TBX Digital, helping businesses and leaders thrive amidst digital disruption. He produces a weekly podcast, “Tanvir Bhangoo Show – Sports to Business,” where he interviews world class athletes on leveraging principles in sports to win in business.

He is also a former college football athlete, winning a national championship with the McMaster Marauders in 2011.
