In our investments, there is likely a stake held in Chinese equities. As with other markets, this means that Chinese stock markets impact our financial well-being. In this lecture, Dr. Lee will explore some of the opportunities and challenges that are present when investing in companies that operate primarily in China. He will also examine the extent of the investing opportunities in Chinese equities for investors in North America.

Dr. Charles Lee

Dr. Charles Lee is a Moghadam Family Professor of Management, and Professor of Accounting at the Graduate School of Business (GSB), Stanford University. His area of academic interest includes studying the effect of human cognitive constraints on market participants and other factors that impact the efficiency with which market prices incorporate information. He has published extensively in leading academic journals on topics that include behavioural finance, market microstructure, quantitative investing, and security market regulation.
