Please join us for an extraordinary evening in recognition of outstanding leadership. The annual Wayne C. Fox Distinguished Alumni Award honours a graduate of the DeGroote School of Business whose personal accomplishments, reputation and character have served to enhance the reputation of McMaster University.
This year we are pleased to present the Wayne C. Fox Distinguished Alumni Award to our 2023 award recipient:

Notes
Indrani J. Butany is a seasoned executive who has shaped the regulatory framework for energy distribution in Ontario. Currently President and CEO of Elexicon Energy Inc., she has spent more than 20 years in the energy sector fostering relationships and becoming an influencer during a key transitional period. She is also a champion of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in industry and boardrooms, and volunteer in her community. She has served on the boards of Hamilton Health Sciences, Mainstage Theatre Company as well as industry boards at the national and provincial level, including Electricity Canada, Electrical Safety Authority, Ontario Energy Association and Electricity Distributors Association. As a mentor and a volunteer in her community, she consistently demonstrates her strong belief in putting others first. Ms. Butany holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and an MBA in Finance from McMaster University.
